Collaboration
What I Offer
Education
I offer workshops and seminars on ethical wildlife tourism practices, saying ‘no’ to wildlife selfies, wildlife conservation and welfare.
I am passionate about scientific communication and am comfortable guest lecturing or advising in both academic and public-facing contexts.
I am also happy to consult across any discipline on course development and content to include interdisciplinary and intersectional approaches to animal studies.
Consultation
As a researcher concerned with the ethics and sustainability of wildlife tourism, I am happy to consult personally and professionally on the organization of cruelty-free travel for the environmentally-conscious.
I can tailor my approach for any intended audience (e.g. academic, corporate, organization, individual, etc.).
Collaboration
I collaborate with several research and advocacy groups. I am enthusiastic about community-led, participatory-action approaches to wildlife tourism through partnership with the host community.
Costa Rican Monkey Interest Group
I founded the Costa Rican Monkey Interest Group to connect wildlife researchers, caregivers, and professionals around the country and internationally through collaborative research, conservation initiatives, and activism to improve monkey lives.
